Hello everyone!
As most of you know, I am a very big fan of Icy Phoenix!
As a tribute to this site and the Mighty Gorgon, I decided to do a template especially for whoever wants it. I just took my favorite style, MG Pearl Black, and made a MG Pearl.
It's white or sort of "Pearly".
It's my default template right now. Anyone's comments would be appreciated!
Thanks.
Update: site is down for a few days. Please check back.

Thanks guys. I still have some more work. The most time consuming next to the graphics, is the .css
I was checking it with IE7 and only noticed some rough edges around the forum .png's.
I went with a smoother set.
The real credit belongs to MG and Lopalong right now, because they both do inspire a lot of people, especially like me, who always was able to grab java and html, but this world is a very cool one!!!
By the way, I just call it pearl, because a pearl in it's natural state is not really white, it's silver, so the color name explains it.
:)
Limun, thanks buddy. I fixed it. Had to go into forum config. and find the proper width value. I fixed it within the CMS configuration. The great thing there, is MG programmed that feature within user controls!!!!

Eeeek!
Ideally themes should be created / modified using a vanilla install of Icy Phoenix and preferably with all the default settings and no MODS etc, and with all of the optional blocks such as Configuration "Headers & Banners", Ctracker "Global News" functioning. ;)
The settings applied using CMS etc, depend on the Database Settings to maintain them, when the problem needs to be addressed with markup and .css :(
Happy Theming GearHead - - I hope you didn't think it was going to be that easy? :mricy: :mryellow:

It's pretty time intensive. I found that out with a few problems with my first one, the Crystal Turquoise. I'm gonna fix that one, and keep working on "Pearl", until I find no issues.
Thank you for the compliment, TheSteffen.
Like Lopalong said, nobody said it was easy, but it's a good challenge I enjoy.
If anyone notices anything else, please let me know!

Good job... what about calling it Gray Pearl?
Maybe you may add some colors in the buttons... but it is up to you.
P.S.: try to have a look at the White Pearl Buttons in this site.

Extra borders around the Menu and Tags blocks - But that could be generated from having borders (yes) in the CMS? ;)

Thanks for the compliments, but it took a lot of time, and there was not much editing, only the graphics and .css.
I think it's silver enough to call it that. Thanks MG!!......hmmm how about a "pearl-like" effect on the buttons?
