I recently started a forum designed by this site and it has locked me out.
the site is ***.jezriderz.net and i was wondering if someone could help me sort out the problem.
I was trying to give my user profile moderator privleges and now i cannot access the forum.
I managed to loose my administrator privlege and cannot get in to change anything.
I login and it registers the login but it says that i am a guest on the forum menu . This happens for both admin and user profiles.
One other thing is that new members cannot join.
If someone there could please help out it would be good

do you have a lot of mods and users??

if not try to run install again.

1. backup your DB.
2. upload install/folder again
3. clean DB
4. run install

this is very drastic but i think the only way.

maybe you have to redo some things afterwards

There are only two users on the forum as i am just getting started.
What you just said sounds a bit out of depth for me so i might get an IT mate to do it for me.

first your forum is a phpBB3 forum so not much people can help you here as this is icyphoenix (based on phpbb2)
i would love to help you but i dont know how  :oops:  (databases of phpbb3 are so different from icyphoenix)
well you can do one thing as you are on start : reinstall forum again from 0 (you will save lot of time)
or try ask help on phpbb3 comunity

phpbb3 permisions are so complicated  :(  i felt it on my skin once

Like Limun said, you are using a phpBB3 forum.  We support only Icy Phoenix, select phpBB3 MODS & Styles.

You should seek support on the phpBB website.

I only asked here because in the bottom right corner it said you designed it.
It turns out that it is not the forum tried it on another computer today and it worked fine so tried it on my computer again and it is doing it. so it must be my computer.
