Phpbb Sessions Full - Critical Error

Subject: Phpbb Sessions Full - Critical Error
Hi there,

We have our own Car Club forum. and recently i was given admin access.... however i have been discovering some problems with the website and am unable to get hold of the original admin, so even though i have been desperately trying to read up on as much info as possible, i was given ur site and told if anyone can help me, u can :mrviolet:

Quote:
Critical Error
Error creating new session
DEBUG MODE
SQL Error : 1114 The table 'phpbb_sessions' is full
INSERT INTO phpbb_sessions (session_id, session_user_id, session_start, session_time, session_ip, session_user_agent, session_page, session_logged_in, session_admin) VALUES ('e9a97ae019251d12bfa985a3dfd12ceb', 7, 1183009960, 1183009960, 'dcee3d04', 'Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727)', -13, 1, 0)
Line : 201File : sessions.php

This is the error message when trying to log onto the website... from various ip's... The site is in need of an update according to the notification on the ACP but when i asked the original admin (sometime ago) he told me this wasnt necessary. Is there anything i can do if i didnt create the original forum database? I would like to upgrade to the IcyPhoenix forum if possible. i am just unsure on the best way to do this... In the meantime i will continue to attempt contact with the original admin... and hopefully any problems will be sorted....

I would really appreciate any advice from those in the know.... (i'll get there one day... LOL)

Thanks..... :kid:

thanks so much for the links... i did try and find some related topics through search but to no avail.....

The original Admin seems to have picked up the prob and found the solution... as far as the sessions being full... which now after having read the info on the links u've given my. i believe i will know what to do...

My next question is... am i able to backup and save the info on the forum if i didnt create the original database...I have admin access as stated previously... but i am unsure as to the process of backing up something i dont actually have. LOL...

Cheers,
