Hi there,
I need some help how to organize my Links with 8x31 logos. I have quite a lot links and trying to organize them in categories. I added more catagories but I can't get them in alphabet order. I moved them around and around in ACP but it's not working even i already clear cache. So i thought, i can delete all categories and create new ones, then go to DB and insert them from back up DB. Now all links disappear and I have to input new ones , 1 by 1. Is there any other faster way?
Thank you,
xmenifle
added: it's so strange, when i deleted all 3 links table (phpbb_links, phpbb_links_config, phpbb_link_categories) and go back to my site clear cach, optimize db, but Links works fine w/o tables.

Can you give the link to your site? Links URL?
I lost my site a couple of weeks ago. I am rebuilding it, and have yet to re-install the links page. Since links need changing ever so often, I will add new ones, take old ones away monthly.
I think it takes a lot of time to build your links, but with that one, I always like to do it manually. I have 3 site members who I've known a long time, and they can add links.
I would say just manually building them is the way to go. There are other operations where dropping or changing tables comes in handy also.

ps: if you do it with mysql tables, be sure to make sure all catagories are in the same order, etc. If everything's not perfect when dumping and re-installing mysql data, you will have issues where mysql will not show it if it's a minor error, it will not be shown on page.
