Hi

I have this working for you in the long description part... you can show any bbcode that Icy has...

though you will have to type it in manually as there are no buttons...

The only problem I have come across and maybe someone else can help with is... when editing a file the bbcode turns into html I could not find how to stop this from happening... though the html does not work it will come back with all the tags showing.... you have to put the bbcode back in the box

Sorry I just could not figure another way...

anyway 2 files attached just backup the originals and copy these 2 over...

this is for beta release only

Let me know if there are anyother problems

WOW thanks DWho for you work.

I will try it and let you know. :mricy:

EDIT: If you already have some bbcode in description it only shows [ b ]text[ /b ] (the code)

And I got this if I edit one file via ACP
Code: [Download] [Hide] [Select]
Fatal error: Call to a member function parse() on a non-object in /www/htdocs/includes/pafiledb/functions_pafiledb.php on line 1800

Thanks for any help.

Thanks for your help DWho,

yesterday I tested it local and on a testsite.

It is working if you insert the BBCode via frontpage.

If you insert the BBCode via myphpadmin or the BBCode still exist, it only shows the BBCode

And I got this if I edit one file via ACP
Code: [Download] [Hide]
  1. Fatal error: Call to a member function parse() on a non-object in /www/htdocs/includes/pafiledb/functions_pafiledb.php on line 1800

Maybe you someone else can figure it out, how to solve it.

Thanks

Hi

Just checking is everything working as it should now...?

Hi DWho,

sorry for the late answer.

It is working, but not correct.
If you write bbcode, html is stored in db. That is the reason why you see html if you edit one download file.

Do you have a idea to solve this? I changed all to RC1.

Thanks

yeah it is a right pain...

I have looked at the files and I seen to be missing something somewhere but cannot find it...

I have made it save as bbcode in the database but then it will not show correctly in the files... I have a couple of ideas and will get back to it as soon as I have finished a couple of over things...

will let you know as soon as I can..
