Are you using an RC1 theme or the old one you had for .27 ? Because it wont work properly if you didn't upgrade the theme. :(

There are docs on how to move, resize and adjust the header/logo etc. in the Docs section.

And if you want specific headers for specific pages and not "Random" switching, then you will need to add some php code to the overall header so it detects what location the user is at, and switch to the appropriate header for that page.

For that, I can post you an example of how to do it, meantime you need to sort out your other problems first.

Example Switching here: h**p://lopalong.com/forum/smilies_index.php If that is what you want. ?

I have also updated my themes to the one that supports RC.

Can i have that example Lopalong ?

Any Idea about album pictures not loading, thumbnails are ok but no picture when clicked to view

In order to increase the height of the logor, edit in css:

Code: [Download] [Hide] [Select]
#top_logo{
background: #f7f7f7 url('images/aphrodite/bg_logo.gif') top left repeat-x;
height: 64px;
padding: 0;
}

2nd question:
I don't have idea :oops: I have tried some switch but they do not work!

Sorry for my very bad english :LOL:

Make sure you have lightbox(aka Highslider) in the album settings enabled, and rebuild the thumbnail cache while you are there.

After that I have no idea off the top of my head. ;)

And Andy, you've been here long enough to know that it's one question per thread for the benefit of all users.

Losing the thumbs is no big deal because they are generated from the actual pics. Which tells me that your main images are not in the path. But there is a bigger hurdle that has to be overcome, and I'm not sure how to go around it.

The problem is that the Album directory structure has changed in RC1 and you no longer have a common upload folder with images tagged as user_2, user_27 etc, and it appears your uploads now go to a folder named users/2/*.*, users/27/*.* :(

I don't know if there's anything in the docs section, and if not, either best you send MG a PM to sort this upgrade out as quickly as possible, or revert back to v27 until it is known how to fix it.
;)

Maybe it's a simple matter of moving your pics (user_2*?) to RC1 files/album/users/2/*.* ?

Don't know, and have no way to test it.

I´ll second that LOPA.
Better wait for final version with all BUGS fixed.
Probably MG will put some extra issues to sort some thing´s out.

In .27 its much more easier to fix this thing´s. Maybe because the code is known by more users that can give you a hand.
RC1 is to different in everything. different way to handle templates css and all that stuff

It is very difficult my friend to give support to anything that changes from day to day when there are no release notes, file or code changes published.

And to be quite frank, I'm not even going to bother looking at the RC candidates in future, when one seems to be expected to spend countless hours trying to work out what changes have been made, only to find that what was changed yesterday, has been changed again today.

IMHO, RC1 is a toy, and should not be used in a live environment.

:shock:

Subject: Re: RC1 - Issues
Thats why i´m still testing around with RC1 and did´nt upgrade my live site.

anyway at the moment i´ve got a huge project whitch i´ve been thinking of basing it in IP.

but it looks like i´ve got to do that with .27.

well, better said i´m still looking around to find a suitable cms for that project.

Just to clear up on something.

I have not set the RC release as my live site, my live site is fine, i test my new dev work live on the server.

My live site is not the one in the link given previously.

There is a special function in install.php which does that for you.

launch install.php again from install folder (it is better that you rename that folder to something else)...

And you will see some special options.

Thanks MG
