default should be random thumb.

Ok, I think I understand most of what you are asking, but it sounds like FAP would need a good deal of modifying to get it done. :(

Doesn't sound too bad an idea... but not sure about implementation - something like this is better done within ACP, which would limit it to the Admin! Perhaps it could be done under "your personal gallery", with a dynamic drop list to enable selecting an image from the gallery (and a check box to enable setting a default thumbnail as opposed to last/random image)...

I have a fair idea how to do it... but have no spare time at the moment :(

thanks for ur post regarding this, i think will be better if its in category edit page, like after clicking mange link it shows category edit page and each category has edit link, after clicking edit link if there is an button for thumbnail, and after clicking this a window will come up with thumbnail of that category and chk box option to select thumbnail, so that that category user, moderator and admin can select thumbnail from there.

Allmost done Thumbnail selection for personal gallery, soon i will add this here, need some documentation.
