Everytime my users post an tag and the link contains the code for a space (%20), the link just shows a text link "Image" than a code not using the %20 and the image is shown??

Example:




Is it supposed to do that??

I undertand that, but that's not my question. Please read it again.

In simple terms..if any link has the "Space" code of %20 in it, the image does not show, but a text link does. If you DO NOT use that %20, then the picture displays as it should using the IMG tags. My example above proves that it does it here as well.

The image doesn't show, so I tried to view it by copying and pasting its url into a new window:
http://www.phpBBXS.eu/image_thumbna...%20a%20like.jpg
and you get back a ctracker security alert

What could have changed in the coding from the previous release. It didn't do this before the 58 came out??

Yes... CTRACKER updated and POSTED_IMG_THUMBNAIL.PHP modified.

For security reasons images with may be ambiguous are blocked by CTRACKER or by POSTED_IMG_THUMBNAIL.PHP.

I can try to unlock this... but it's not a good thing doing it... :wink:

I may eventually add a switch for those users who wants IMG tag with no restrictions... but then you should enable this feature at your own risk. :wink:

Can i use the previous version of POSTED_IMG_THUMBNAIL.PHP without corrupting anything or is this an issue i have to deal with for now?
