When will we see the new version?
Why note the inactivity on the site?

Subject: Re: When And Why ?

Let me say that you are wrong. :mricy:
You cannot judge Icy Phoenix development by checking only activity on this site...
As I have said several times so far, I have only few spare time, and in that time I only code for Icy Phoenix.
Let me make an example:
When I had more free time (this used to happen in the past  ) I could code for 20 hours per week and also had some extra time to support here... now I can only code about 10/15 hours per week and no time for support (otherwise new Icy Phoenix will not be ever released!).
We are lacking of active Staff members (do not forget that this is an open source project... and it is an hobby after all) so you only notice activity where we have users interested into.
Anyway... if you want to be aware on how the development is going, you need to check the official repositories of Icy Phoenix source code:
I am also planning to update this website to the latest dev release, to be able to test online all the new features and code. This operation will require at least one full day of work (this website has many extra features which needed to be updated manually)... as soon as I have the time to perform the upgrade, you will be able to test the new package also on this website.
Please be patient a little bit... and if you want to speed up the development, you can test the dev version to help debugging.
Thanks,
Luca

I have written on this subject I am a fan of this project, even if the financial capacity or code I will help you
All I can do at this moment that I design my site and leave the style as it is
And I'll offer help as much as possible

Thanks, all you can do right now is testing.
I have started upgrading this website on my local testing environment... if everything will go fine, I'll be able to update before the weekend.
Updating here will help a lot in debugging and testing new features. We will then need just to finish the CMS part and (maybe) improving the plugins system before final release.

maybe this is the first bug then??, post #5 and #6 are the same (1 minute difference in time of posting), or did you have a drink before posting ? :mryellow:
and about the statistics.. i think i could be the reason for those percentages to be so high for phpbb maybe, for starters i tend to take more posts to get my point across and i can t support icy simply because i don t use it (not yet anyway) so i don t know much about it
i don t think you can say or see MG is supporting phpbb more than icyphoenix
