I found an issue regarding this 2 mods if both are in use on a board. How to fix it you can read here: http://www.oxpus.de/viewtopic.php?t=1361. All users of phpBBXS should apply this fix immidiatley because on phpBBXS board both mods are installed.

Hi WileCoyote, could you explain what the problem has been? I don't think anyone has reported any problems due to DB Maintenance and Categories Heirarchy in phpBBXS, so this news to us (or me at least). I tried to translate the German, but am not sure exactly. Am I right in thinking that the problem that this fixes is the shifting/moving of forum sub-categories to a temporary folder when you run the DB maintenance mod, when checking for the existance of forums with invalid categories?
