Backup Problem

Subject: Backup Problem
Hi.
Since I moved my phoenix forum to another hosting provider, with the latest mysql/php versions, I get the following error, during backing up the site:

Backup from ACP (Icy Phoenix Administration)
DB And Security/DB Backup/ and I select all table

Code: [Download] [Hide] [Select]
Critical Error!
message_die() was called multiple times.

Is this a known issue, or I should resolve this with the provider?

Well, I'm not having a problem backing up with v2.0.1.87 so maybe you could try grabbing the latest admin_db_backup.php from GIT-HUB?

Maybe admin_db_utilities.php too?

Or I'll post mine here if it helps?

I understand that there were some problems with v1.3.24.77

And Maybe your DB is too big for v2.*

Preferably - The best way is to download and install mysqldumper for BIG databases. :mryellow:

I still prefer mysqldumper for such huge DBs

Anyway, can you for me something that sometimes helped me.

Go into ACP
Click left on "DB And Security"
Make a right click on "DB Backup" and say open in a new tap.

Now you get "admin_db_backup.php?mode=backup&sid=yoursid" without header.

Give it another try please ;-)

Unfortunately there isn't an easy way to make a backup within Icy Phoenix. That script has been coded just for small DB.

There could be a limit added by your host which doesn't allow to download the DB once it is backed up... I would do the backup by using MySQLDumper or phpMyAdmin, as it is still the best way to go.
