problem with restoring database from version 1.0.5.5 to 1.1.0.1

are there different changes for the structures?

There were big changes from beta to RC to final so update to 1.0.9.9 then RC1 (1.0.11.11) then final(1.1.0.15)

You can directly update to final version from 1.0.5.5
No need to do partial updates

If you're using Icy Phoenix 1.0.9.9 or above, you can upgrade your board by following these instructions:

At any part of the install/upgrade guide says to do partial upgrades.
Upgrades from any version to last version can me made in one step

You don't need to run all steps... choose just the one which represent your situation and you are done.

In your case update from 1.0.5.5 is fine. No need of anything else.
