Guys i dont know if i will be asking the right stuff... I am a newbie and i really like the Black Pearl Template So much, I am Wondering if there is a Black Pearl Style for Portal... and can i ask for it?

I think you are using phpbb3 so topic is moving to "phpbb3 mods and styles"

Currently there is no template for Portal... but if you have subSilver 2 files it would be quite easy to adapt them to Black Pearl.

Can you make a test?

I concur what jing is asking. There are 3 portals out there right now for BB3 and all 3 are aweful. I want a portal created exactly like IMPortal or the IcyPhoenix Portal. No other portal as of now offers the benefits of IMPortal or IcyPhoenix Portal.

Fair enough, Guess we'll just have to wait for the best coded board there will ever be when you have the time to do it. Really nothing compares to your work. It's brilliant. Well I'm off to California to pick up a load of produce. See ya when I get the time to stop and rest.

I have tried to alter the style to work with Board3Portal, with the instructions for subsilver2.
How ever certain instruction it asks for are not located in the specified files.

Now I have seen that the build of this style is slightly different then subsilver2, so taking that approach and looking in the other files, like breadcrumbs and _index_body, how ever that kinda results into error like:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/activeou/public_html/outlaws/cache/tpl_black_pearl_overall_header.html.php on line 187

Purged cache for style (templates) and for forum compleetly.
That didn't worked unfortunatly
So I must have been doing something wrong, kinda obvious, otherwise I'd would have worked.
That why I am wondering if there is another way arround to fix that error.

Got it to work now, just needed to do a few things differently to make it work

Do you have modified files for Black Pearl?

I used the phpbb3 Portal for home in mine (I use Milky Way), installed the subsilver2 template files and works alright!
Here's a demo www.homeconcept.gr , if you need anything I'm here
I don't recall if I encountered any problems at all, I think I didn't (it's been two months since I installed it). Now I need some tweaks.
I could upload the portal folder for Milky Way if you want to and also, when I'm done with the Greek buttons, I'll upload them as well.

For the header logo, just replace the styles/milky_way/imageset/sitelogo_small.png file with yours.
For a portal, visit www.phpbb3portal.com and use the subSilver2 template. If you need anything else, just tell me. It should look like this -> www.homeconcept.gr after the installation.

I use Milky_Way but it should be the same for Black Pearl.
