Andrea, in next XS you should be able to use an alternative way of resizing images... and this should work better than Limit Image Width, even if still related to getimagesize.

LIW is causing several problem with page loading... but as you can see here on this board... images are still resized, but loading is much faster.

Thanks for your report... I'm going to check both discussions when I'm a little bit "awake"... now it's 3.26 AM!
