I switched the guest's to smoke pearl

EDIT 2:

I switched off the SEO-MOD, the Result is the same.

I think it was before i've installed SEO-Mod / Portal

I've disabled the Portal and SEO-Mode and installed original File's of Smoke Pearl (after deinstalling).
Yes, i've installed the necessary Code's eq. to Subsilver2 (SEO and Portal)

Smoke Pearl => i've got the Style from Icy Phoenix - ColorizeIt

EDIT: in prosilver / subsilver2 there's no link like "search" or "members" (eq. Forum>> Search - Forum >> Members).

I think it would be ok for me to disable the links like subsilver2.

Hi Limun,
no, ididn't resolve the problem...

Links like "Forum>>FAQ" works...but not Search and Member.

I reconised that this functions are not available in the standard-styles, proberly the wouldn't rewritten correct by SEO-Mode.

I think the best way is to disable the functions in pearl...must search for...my Coding-Know-how ist as well as my english :-))

Post subject: Re: Smoke Pearl => Board Index » Search => Homepage
It is not a bug, it is the way the template is designed.

Unfortunately not all links are sent to template so I couldn't add the correct URL to all breadcrumbs.

Charlie_M [ Wed 03 Dec, 2008 12:42 ]
Post subject: Re: Smoke Pearl => Board Index » Search => Homepage
but i can delete the addinional link "Search" from "forum>>Search" eq. Member?

Or its possible to change to a URL?

the error ist:

- Forum/# instead Forum/search.php
- Forum/# instead Forum/members.php

Ok... I misunderstood the problem...

Since I don't know how the SEO MOD is working, and since you are already working on it, I'll leave this to you.

Charlie_M [ Wed 03 Dec, 2008 13:24 ]
Post subject: Re: Smoke Pearl => Board Index » Search => Homepage
The SEO-Mode rewrites the URL's like Index.php => Index.htm, Forum/index?xxxx to Forum/Topic.htm.

If changes are done with this mod in ACP the .htaccess in Root must be replaced by the SEO-Cache.

I think its better to uninstall the SEO-Mode...I don't know if its important or not...

THX!

Good Morning Limun,
the Parts marked with "bad" are the SEO-Modification for URL-rewrite_mod and Meta-Tag.

I'll try it on Weekend - then I've more time to Test...

I think its the best way to uninstall SEO and Components of SEO.

Hi Limun,
please - can u check the Installation (=> Test-Forum) of the Board-3-Portal for the Style Smoke Pearl?

I've tried to "translate" the Introductions to the Icy-Style...something makes me crazy...
particlulary for Example Overall_Header:

Code: [Hide] [Select]
<!-- IF S_BOARD_DISABLED and S_USER_LOGGED_IN --><span style="color:#C8A837;">{L_BOARD_DISABLED}</span><!-- ENDIF -->

<!-- IF not $S_IN_PORTAL or not S_DISPLAY_MAINMENU -->

<!-- ENDIF -->

<div id="wrapcentre">

<!-- IF not $S_IN_PORTAL or not S_DISPLAY_MAINMENU -->

<!-- ENDIF -->

Are thise Code-Parts nessecery? It makes no sense...

If blablabla or not blablabla then end?

You'll find the Introduction for the Style Prosilver2.

THX!

If you checked it i'll reinstall my Live-Forum for the last Time

Sorrym i try again

Ok, you know i've installed in Test-Forum a Backup => then Board3-Portal.

To integrate Portal i've to ADD some Code after xxx.
Sample:

Code: [Hide] [Select]
Find
Tip: This may be a partial find and not the whole line.

Code:Select All
<!-- IF S_BOARD_DISABLED and S_USER_LOGGED_IN --> &nbsp;<span style="color: red;">{L_BOARD_DISABLED}</span><!-- ENDIF -->
Add after
Tip: Add these lines on a new blank line after the preceding line(s) to find.

Code:Select All
<!-- IF not $S_IN_PORTAL or not S_DISPLAY_MAINMENU -->
<< Hide
Find
Tip: This may be a partial find and not the whole line.

Code:Select All
<div id="datebar">
<table width="100%" cellspacing="0">
<tr>
<td class="gensmall"><!-- IF S_USER_LOGGED_IN -->{LAST_VISIT_DATE}<!-- ENDIF --></td>
<td class="gensmall" align="{S_CONTENT_FLOW_END}">{CURRENT_TIME}<br /></td>
</tr>
</table>
</div>
Add after
Tip: Add these lines on a new blank line after the preceding line(s) to find.

Code:Select All
<!-- ENDIF -->

So, i can't find the neccessary codes, so i've tried to compare with the Code in subsilver2...but i'm not sure I've done the right..

The Code is for Subsilver2 - you can download the Portal from http://www.board3.de/

the Code ist the same from the Portal i've installed first in my Test-Forum WITH SEO.

Now its working without SEO and WITH Portal.

yes i know what portal you now installed

everithing seems to be ok exept that main menu on portal of your smoke pearl ... (this we solve , its not so big problem)

the point i dont understand is : what style you want to use for your forum , Prosilver2 or smoke_pearl ?
