Post subject: No Background/style With IP1.2.0.27b
I have a huge problem!
I have installed IP 1.2.027b on 2 different locations
Site1 and
Site2,
but I always have a plain white background.
On site 2 I installed additional styles which where accepted in the ACP, but whatever style I choose it always stays white.
I have made sure that I have set all permissions correctly before setting up IP 1.2.0.27b.
I have a phpBB3 forum, but wanted a shoutbox, so I tried to install ajax-chat into my backup forum (phpBB3) and made a total mess of it. So I thought I'll try IP, mainly Black Pearl and Rainbow Pearl are choices on my phpBB3 forum.
Any help where I have gone wrong would be much appreciated. (It might have been mentioned somewhere already in this forum, but after 2 days of looking I have not found it, Sorry!)

That ussualy happens when your url path is wrong, (pointing to the wrong page)
for example your url is Forum/index.php, mine is forum.php
make sure you have the paths setup properly in your ACP under --> Configuration --> Server
and make sure you point the url to the right page
Edited:
It looks like you installed IP (site 2) in a subfolder called "Forum" under the domain " rasputin007.co.uk " (correct me if i'm wrong)
if so, make sure the "Script path" in your ACP is set like this --> /Forum/
then you would use this -->
http://www.rasputin007.co.uk/Forum/
to point to your site

I have IP setup in subfolders like "Forum", is easier when you have quite a bit of stuff in it. Site1 is also in a subfolder and a subdomain, which should work fine (phpBB did!).
Thanks I will check those path, but if I remember correctly they were setup right automatically during installation.
I let you know what happend.
Update:
I have checked the path, cleared all cache on style and my Firefox browser, but it still remains white background, but also any icons are not present.
It is like you can see the page layout, but any background, borders, icons etc are missing.

my opinion: make sure you upload all templates files and images. go to ACP change it back to Icy Phoenix style, remove and reinstall Milkyway style.

Thanks for that reply.
I have downloaded IP1.2.0.27b again with Aphrodite style (is not part of IP, but installer looks for it) and will install it again.

rasputin007, did you try linking to the site using the main domain (Not sub domain) and see if it works.

Yes I tried, but no change. I attach a screenshot of ACP of site 2 (in the main domain)

Go to your --> CPanel --> Error Logs
and see what the last errors say, maybe that will give you a clue what file has an error or whats wrong.
If you have to many errors,
just delete them, then try to access your site, then go back to cpanel and check what error it gave you

I get an
Internal Server Error when accessing
http://www.rasputin007.co.uk/Forum/templates (and other folders)
You only can access files that are there. If you try a folder you get that error message. That's how my webhosting company set it up.
Sorry did not had time today to do anything (have a V8 firmware that drives me mad!)

Browsing to any folder in your installation should load a default index.html file like the one that displays here :
http://www.rasputin007.co.uk/Forum/blocks/
Do as Bobocop suggested and check your site's error log

Can you indicate the "full" path from /forum/ to where the IP template folder is, because none of the paths are valid ?

Besten Dank für den Tip! (Thanks for the hint!)
It is funny, but when I enter
www.rasputin007.co.uk/Forum/templates/index.html I also get the server error. It does not matter if I use index.html or not it is always "Internal Server Error". Strange, but that is OK!
One more question, I use Rainbow Pearl on my phpBB3 forum (ColorizeIt version) and just love it, but I can not find Rainbow Pearl for IP, does it has a different name or is it not available for IP?
Thanks again to everybody for their help, very much appreciated!

Kein Problem, gern geschehen.
