the width needs to be the same as the forum width settings or experiment alittle but i would not change the height

hi m8 i have tried it i went through my provider downloaded file changed it 1060z150 re uploaded it and nothing happened on webby so went back opened filed and it said 150x150 ??????????


and this is what it says in header

if i understand correct ..you dloaded the imageset.cfg, changed it, and reuploaded it

after that you opened the file on the host and it is unchanged?

if so ..did you upload it back to the correct directory? if yes .. did you allow it to overwrite?

if the story is different ..please be specific

when i uploaded it it didnt overwrite.
when it was uploaded it had name imageset.cfg.htm
so i renamed it and took the htm off so it just said imageset.cfg
i used dreamweaver 3 to open it ?

if u fell like it josh i will give u passwords to ACP as its getting on my nerves now and im taking your time up?

well to be honest i was stuck on my own modifications anyway, so don t worry about my time  

i m not so used to editing this stuff in ACP and i must immediately say it not wise to trust a stranger

also i would use something like notepad++ for editing or even the tools in cpanel on the host

my advice for now (.. since it s hard to mess up an unmodified board)

goto your cpanel (i asume you have that), go to the directory of the imageset.cfg with the filemanager  and open it to edit ... edit the size and save it ... go to ACP/styles tab and refresh the imageset.. go to ACP/general tab and flush the cache

Edit: i am willing to make this exeption for you but it 's not wise

ok got it to save as 1050z150  and i think i know why it staying that size lolol
 
click on logo and look at dimensions if im right logo is only 600x173 ?

well i dont mind m8 i trust you you can check and see if its done right  do you have msn?

Edit to make your life easy:

I wrote: 

go to ACP/styles tab and refresh the imageset.. go to ACP/general tab and flush the cache

EDIT: I would switch the numbers hahahahaha

when i changed it and re uploaded it it put it there as imageset.htm
when i edited it to 150x1050 and took htm of end so it was just imageset.cfg
and save i del other one but settings revert back to 1050x150???????????????

please you are making this harder than it is, if you just edit the file on the server and save it all this would not be happening

Edit: i mean in cpanel/filemanager or whatever panel your host uses
