I got a google adsense code and I put this code in a new block and This was correct.

But when I put the code in ACP>Config>Banners I dont see the google adsense, the code isn't visible.

I tried paste the code in the correct block and I see it.

I want to see the ads in the first topic.

Also I tried paste the code in others publicity blocks but..

My english sucks! Im sry!.

If you got other adsense ads on yout page sometimes google blocks the code, forcing to be shown only once at the time on a page

I have the same problem here.  I can't view the Google Adsense coding in the forums, but I can see it if I have an HTML block on the portal page.  Not sure why.

Check again from ACP if you have also ACTIVATED the banner in viewtopic (it is not enough to paste the code in the block )


Then check if you have to many banners in other parts of the page.

I only had the one banner, and yes, it was set to YES.  But, still doesn't work there.  I'm not sure why.

Doesn't the "sponsor"'s post show, or it shows but empty?

The sponsor post shows, just doesn't show the ad within the post.  It's just blank.

Uhm... Are you sure you don't have any adblocker or scriptblocker running?

Nope, tried it on my home computer, and my work machine, both doing the same thing.  The ad works if I put it on a block on the portal, but not in the forum.  I am using the same exact Google Adsense code for both.  

U can't show the same code on the same page twice. Google blocks it

What I meant, is that if I put a block, on the portal page, the code works fine.  But, if I delete that block, then put the code active in the forum, it doesn't display.  Even if it's the only ad on the entire site.

I only activated the option for "Viewtopic Banner Code".  The option is set to YES.  Here's the code I used for the Google Adsense:

If you go to my site (guilinux.net) and look at the forum, and view the source, you can even see the adsense code within the source of the page.  Still not working right though.

Exactly.  I see that as well.  It doesn't appear to happen here on icyphoenix.com though....if you have any ideas, let me know

It's definitely something to do with the " character.  It shows the  after every ".  Seems like a PHP thing.  I tried general html, ya know, simple <br>'s, and it shows up fine.  The minute a " is there, that's when everything screws up.
