Calendar box is working fine in Aphrodite.

I have removed it in MG Themes because I don't like it and because was messing up the layout when using many blocks.

What you can do is:

  • Use Aphrodite template.
  • Add a global block with the Mini Calendar.
  • Study Aphrodite template trying to guess what you have to enable in MG Themes to have the calendar working. I'll point you what you have to look at, but you have to guess the modifications needed on your own. Files interested are: overal_header.tpl and index_body.tpl. As said compare these files between MG Themes and Aphrodite.

I guess no... but if you will try following my indications I'm sure you will be able to have the calendar working.

Don't be lazy.

1- Where can download the Aphrodite theme?
2- How do it?
