Hey all,
I installed a fresh version of IP, and I would like to insert my old database (with all my posts & users!).
My old and new database use IP version 1.3.
How do I do this?
If the database already exists, I can not insert the databasefiles (*.gz and a *.txt backup).
And if I do not let IP install the database, but create the database manually, the database-inserts are fine, but when I go see my website in a browser, I see "this template does not exist" (and I uploaded it!)
The only thing I would like to have of my old website, are the posts...
Could someone please tell me what to do?
Thanks in advance!

check templates table =) There is something wrong in (surely id != id of user_template

Thanks for your reaction: I would like to try it a different way: I would like to update all database tables manually.
What tables/ insertions are necessary to have all the posts/ topics?
IP_topics
IP_categories
IP_posts
Are there more?
Thanks in advance

Because there is a lot of structures changes, I think the better way is to update with the ip sql update script =)
*Edit: Okay, running in same version. Just check if the id of the template = the id of template (user themes)

I would reinstall :up1: your old database back up overwriting your new database.. use something like mysqldumper.de
then run the database_update.php script that comes in the install file of the latest icy and you should be good to go...
