Icy Phoenix

Hi

This is the bridge for the flashchat version 5.0.11 and Icy Phoenix 1.3

To Install please copy over the attached files into the correct folders in your chat folder...

then upload to your server and install as normal.. remember to use phpbbcms for your cms..

follow installation instructions and you are good to go...

This bridge will now show the icy users profile when clicked on in the chat if you come across any errors espcially in the admin section please let me know as I have the fix for them but it only effects certain servers...

Please remember that flash chat is a paid script of I am by no means making any money or endorsing the flash chat site here just making the mod changes so you guys can use it in your Icy Phoenix sites..

This chat engine is nice. And the integration works great. I am going to use this chat as the "public" chat on the main page for our site but for the main members who are chatting (there will be 50 or more chatting at once) this chat just can not handle more than 15 or so chatters at once on a shared host server like my site is.

So I went with 123flash chat,, its a little expensive ( a month for 50 concurrent users) but it can handle more of a load.

BUT this chat is very functional and useful if you don't have more than 10 or 15 chatting at one time.

OK....so a real issue...

After doing the install, I try to log in using the entry fields, and it shows loading sounds/skins...but then quits.

I install flash chat normally and loads just fine though.

EDIT: here are the errors i'm getting:

when setting up flashchat you should set it up to use the phpbb2 bridge then you can replace the files with the ones I have attached and it should work just fine or have you a link so I can see what is going on..

The version is 6.0.6, the bridge run with this version?

add this piece of html code to a center block for it to work the way you want it too..



you have to edit the files to make it fit with your template sorry I have not gone into file editing with the program to know where to start LOL

Am I safe to assume this works with Milky Way Red?
