No, I'm not that smart

But I'm almost sure if you give it some time you'll get some response of those who are

EDIT: something in the album must have exeeded your memory limit and messed up the cache somewhow ... but i don't know why

Thanks again for getting me up and running.

by the Album do you mean the personal album's as we dont use these anymore and I can clear them out.

the users are big on attachments.... I did a little culling of these in the background while i was waiting as there were some big files there.

Will keep an eye out for more comments. :)

Maybe you could take a look at icyphoenix/includes/album_mod/album_image_class.php and see what is at line 105

Anyway ..you're welcome

memory limit of 32mb is already high. next time if you can try to increase the php memory limit or clear cache again. the pictures must be big if they exhausted the memory limit.

I'm not sure deleting the photos did anything, I regularly clear the cache..but once Joshua directed me to the recovery panel and i cleared the cache it was instantly up again?

Just a couple of observations:

1. I can't find this file in 2 test installations (beta and RC), editing pictures (effects) also doesn't seem to work for me oppsosed to your site where is does seem to work fine.
I think I read somewhere the album is planned to become a pluggin, maybe this is why I don't have the file (preparation for changes?)
2. Maybe it could be a good idea to limit editing pics (effects) in the album to regged users?
Because it does state this:
Quote:
Apply multiple effects to the pictures.
Remember that this is a very heavy operation on server CPU load, so please do not abuse it. Some effects will automatically resize the output image to prevent too much charge on the server CPU.

Subject: Re: Help... I've Crashed
I don't think the crash is related to the above error, since the class for images doesn't directly involve core files...

Maybe the cache just got corrupted for other reasons (server restart, power failure, etc.) and you needed to clear it.
