Hi,
o'm sorry...but i've a problem i can't find a solution :(

If a member changes in "user control panel" => Hide my online status => "Yes" => the member will be hidden
in "who is online" - but it doesn't change in Profiles eq. in threads.

Even it doesn't change the status going back to "visible".

U can see it in the Atachment:
User Charlie is "visible" and actual online, but in the Profile and in the Avatar he is shown as offline.

I don't mean "hide" @ Log-in, i mean changing the status in the user control preferences.

@ phpbb2 it works fine...

Have anyone any ideas?

I'm assuming you are using a phpBB3 board.

Moving to phpBB3 MODS & Styles...again assuming you are using a style supported by Icy Phoenix and if this problem is caused by an Icy Phoenix style.

1. yes, it's a IcyPhoenix Style
2. the problem is with all Styles
3. i don't know if its a problem from the styles or php

If i know where is the problem eq. what is to do i wouldn't ask here...

I hoped to find someone who helps me to find a solution.

I'm not familiar with phpBB3 so I'm definitely not going to be able to help you. I'm not going to close this topic because your problem may have something to do with the Icy Phoenix styles you are using.

Wait and see if someone knowledgeable responds to your issue. 8)

i m hidden , i dont see my username in viewonline..and i m as "offline"

I trie to explain what is happened:

The nick in the pictures is my 2. one as an usuall User :mrblue:

The last weeks i logged on "not hidden" - in "who is online" i was vissible, but in the Profile and Threads i was "Offline".
U can see it @ Pictures...

So i tried to switch in Preferences to "hidden":
- in "who is online" => hidden,
- "Profile" and "Threads" => Offline

I think this should be ok.

until today afternoon:
I've tried to switch in Preferences from "hidden" to "vissible":
- i stay "hidden" until i logg out and log in again
- "who is Online" => visible
- "Profile" and "Threads" => Offline :o

now:
i'm logged in as "Visible":
- "who is online" => visible
- "Profile" and "Threads" => Online

i switch in Preferences from "Visible" to hidden:
- "who is online" => hidden
- "profile" and "Threads" => Online

It's total crazy was happens...

Proberly its only my 2. ACC having the "Trouble" - i'll ask another Users what will be happened...

you need to give a little time to databse ... it need time to show real "stats"
i think this is your problem ...
example : sometimes i m here on this site loged off ..but i see myself in list who is online

Yes, i know.

But a "little" time about 2 weeks :-O

try this:
swich to "no" "not hidden" and wait try to see when you become "online"... (if need wait few hours)
when u see you online switch to "yes" - "hidden" and wait ..... try to see how time it need ....

I should move this to general support as it is IP related problem.

I have no clue around what happend to your board.

EDIT:

Reading what you explained to Limun, I guess your problem is on a IP board, so check at the ACP the statistics blocks and change the cache refresh time
